Union Boards and Boxes

Every Unit of UAW Amalgamated Local 1268 has Union boards that posts official Union information.

These boards were negotiated in your contract.  It is very important for you to know where these boards are located.  These boards contain information on Membership and Unit meetings, election nominations, elections and the results, proposed by-law changes to communication from your Local Leadership and International Leadership. Please check your boards. Some information, such as election notices and proposed by-law changes, are only posted in the following boards.

For Units 1 and 9 you can find the boards in these LOCATIONS:

For all other Union Information such as; UAW 1268 Bi-Weekly Newsletter, Union Voice publication, committee events, fundraisers and all other relevant leaflets can be found in the large tan boxes by the following ENTRANCES:

All Team leaders are e-mailed the leaflets that are being distributed in the boxes. Ask your Team leader

to help keep all members informed, and print out your Union communications.

For Units 2-9, Please ask your Stewards, Committeepersons and Unit Chairs where to find your information boards for the official board postings.

The Unit Chairs shall distribute all UAW 1268 leaflets: Bi-Weekly Newsletter, Union Voice publication, committee events, and fundraisers.

Due to the potential impact of being uninformed, or doing nothing, your participation in staying informed will be beneficial to the membership as a whole.
